Following the plan for the easing of COVID-19 restrictions we are advised that August will be the earliest we will be allowed attend spectator driven sporting or cultural events ONLY if we can still maintain #socialdistancing guidelines.

Phase five, to begin on August 10th, will see people being allowed travel as tourists to our offshore islands. Larger social gatherings will be allowed, but there will still be restrictions….Mass spectatorship sports events and festivals and other cultural gatherings are to be allowed, but only if social distancing can be maintained.

While some businesses and industries are pushing to open sooner, we in the events industry are at least grateful that some elements of the roadmap to recovery are accelerating which means we may get some semblance of ‘normal’ back before the end of summer ’20.

Linked below is a great resource for your countries guidelines to mass events. We have particular interest in other places as those opening sooner than Ireland will indicate what we may be able to do to accommodate increased capacities.
